Replacing the V-belt
The engine takes approx. 3...4 s to
run down after being shut off.
Never enter operating area during
this period!
! Open unit cover.
! Unscrew screws at the alternator.
! Adjust alternator so that the V-belt
is completely slack.
! Remove the V-belt.
! Mount the new V-belt.
! Adjust alternator so that the V-belt
has the required tension.
! Retighten the screws at the
alternator.
In the middle between the
crankshaft and the alternator the V-
belt must yield by approx. 7-9 mm
at a pressure of 100 N (weight of
10 kg).
! Close unit cover.
Check the side brushes
! Raise the side broom.
! Remove tapes or string from the
side brushes.
Check the sweep roller
! Swing up debris container.
! Remove tapes and string from the
sweep roller.
! Tilt back debris container.
Replacing the side broom
Replacing it is necessary if the
sweeping result is visibly
diminished due to worn bristles.
! Remove 3 hand nuts.
! Take-off the side broom.
! Plug a new side broom onto the
driver.
! Tighten 3 hand nuts.
Replacing the sweep roller
Replacing it is necessary if the
sweeping result is visibly
diminished due to worn bristles.
! Remove 3 Allen screws.
! Take-off the shrouding.
! Remove hand screw at the rocker.
