Various Settings
You can change the volume balance of Tones 1 and 2.
1.
Hold down the [Song] button and press the [Metronome]
button.
The display will indicate “Fnc” and you’ll be in Function mode.
2.
Press and hold the [Split] button and use the [–] or [+]
button to select “dbL.”
3.
Release the [Split] button to see the current setting.
The current volume balance is shown.

Use the [–] [+] buttons to change the setting.
The volume balance will change.
If you want to return to the original volume balance, press the [–]
and [+] buttons simultaneously.
5.
Press the [Song] or [Metronome] button to leave
Function mode.
You can use the Memory Backup function to store this setting
in internal memory (p. 44).
This setting specifies what the transpose function will affect.
You can use the transpose function to change the pitch of both the
song and the keyboard, the pitch of only the song, or the pitch of
only the keyboard.

Press and hold the [Transpose] button and use the [–] or
[+] button to select “trS.”
3.
Release the [Transpose] button to see the current
setting.
4.
Use the [–] [+] buttons to change the setting.
5.
Press the [Song] or [Metronome] button to leave
Function mode.
You can use the Memory Backup function to store this setting
in internal memory (p. 44).
You can change the pitch of Tone 2 in Dual Play (p. 23) and the Left-
hand tone in Split Play (p. 24) an octave at a time.
Altering the pitch in one-octave units in this way is called “Octave
Shift.”
For example, you can raise the pitch of the Left-hand Tone to the
same pitch as the Right-hand Tone in Split Play.

Press and hold the [Split] button and use the [–] or [+]
button to select “Oct.”
3.
Release the [Split] button to see the current setting.
4.
Use the [–] [+] buttons to change the setting.
The range of available pitch change spans from two octaves higher
to two octaves lower.
The pitch is lowered one octave each time the [-] button is pressed,
while each press of the [+] button raises the pitch by one octave.
To return to the original pitch, press the [-] and [+] buttons
simultaneously.
5.
Press the [Song] or [Metronome] button to leave
Function mode.
