SET DEVICE NAME
Use the SET DEVICE NAME command to assign the DMM a unique name of up
to 31 alphanumeric characters. (To make identification of the DMM easier,
assign the same name to the terminal prompt.)
Format
Example
The following command sets the DMM’s name to Bart:
CB5000> set device name Bart
Device name changed.
