Troubleshooting
Could the UA-25EX be in use by other software?
Close all software that’s currently running, disconnect the UA-25EX’s USB cable, and then
reconnect it.
If this does not solve the problem, reinstall the driver.

Is the driver installed correctly?
Driver installation may have failed. Please reinstall the driver.

Is the UA-25EX device name shown?
If the device name is not displayed, it may be that the driver installation failed. Please reinstall the
driver.

Could the computer to which the UA-25EX is connected have entered standby (suspend) mode,
hibernate mode, or sleep mode?
Close all software that uses the UA-25EX, disconnect the UA-25EX’s USB cable, and then reconnect
it.
If this does not solve the problem, restart your computer.
Could you have disconnected and reconnected the USB cable while using the UA-25EX?
Close all software that uses the UA-25EX, disconnect the UA-25EX’s USB cable, and then reconnect

Could the UA-25EX have been connected when the computer started up?
On some computers, the UA-25EX may be unusable if it is already connected when the computer
starts up.
Start up your computer, and then connect the UA-25EX.
Are you using the Media Player included with Windows Vista?
On Windows Vista, the UA-25EX’s MIDI device cannot be selected by Media Player.
Could the UA-25EX’s Advanced driver switch be turned OFF?
If you’re using ASIO compatible software, turn the Advanced driver switch ON.
