Restoring a song from CDs
Follow these procedures to restore a song that has been
backed up on one or more CDs.
1 In MULTITRACK mode, press the CD button to open
the
CD
screen.
2 Put the CD that contains the backup file in the disc
tray.
3 Use the DATA wheel to select
CD RESTORE
, and
press the F4 (¥) button.
4 A confirmation screen appears. Press the F3 (YES)
button.
5 If the song was backed up on multiple CDs, a
message requesting the next CD will appear after
restoration from the first CD is complete. Put the
next backup CD into the tray.
6 When restoration is complete the
CD
screen will
reopen.
Erasing a CD-RW
Follow the procedures below to erase a CD-RW disc that
has already been written to.
1 In MULTITRACK mode, press the CD button to open
the
CD
screen.
2 Put the CD-RW that you want to erase into the disc
tray.
3 Use the DATA wheel to select
ERASE
, and press the
F4 (¥) button.
The following confirmation message appears.
4 Press the F3 (
YES
) button to begin erasing the CD-
RW disc. After erasure completes, the
CD
screen
reopens.
CAUTION
Following this procedure will erase all the data on the CD-
RW. Erased data cannot be recovered. Only erase a CD-RW
if you are certain that you do not need the data on it.
NOTE
You cannot erase a CD-R disc.
