When writing is completed, a screen like the following will appear.
9. Use the cursor buttons to select [OK] or [Cancel], and then
press the [O] button.
Operation Explanation
[OK]
The disc will be nalized to complete the music CD.
No more content can be written to a nalized CD-R
disc, even if there was some free space remaining on
the disc.
[Cancel] The disc will not be nalized.
When nalization begins, the screen will indicate “Executing...”
When nalization is completed or if you pressed the [×] button, you
will return to the “Menu” screen.
NOTE
Never turn o the power while the screen indicates “Executing...”
Writing Additional Songs to a CD
If a CD-R disc has not yet been nalized, you’ll be able to write
additional songs to it.
1. Insert an unnalized CD-R disc into the CD drive.
2. Repeat steps 2–9 of “Writing Songs to a CD” (p. 77) as many
times as necessary.
Making the Disc Playable on Another CD
Player
A CD-R disc that has not been nalized is not a completed music CD,
and cannot be played back by another CD player.
To make the disc playable on other CD players, you must “nalize” the
disc.
1. Insert the unnalized CD-R disc into the CD drive.
2. Press the [Application] button ➝ [CD Writing] ➝ [O] button
(p. 24).
The “Select Songs” screen will appear.
3. Press the right cursor button to select “Finalize.”
