LEVEL/BPM/KEY
LEVEL [0–200]
This adjusts the output volume of the VG-88.
BPM [40BPM–250BPM, MIDI]
Adjusts the BPM value for each patch.
* BPM (beats per minute) indicates the number of quarter note
beats that occur each minute.
KEY [C (Am)–B (G
#
m)]
Specify the KEY of the COSM guitar and the Harmonist
effect.
PEDAL/ASSIGN
Adjust these settings if you would like to use the VG-88's
EXP pedal or CTL pedal, a pedal connected to the VG-88, or
an external MIDI device to control parameters as you play.
* Turn on the effect that contains the parameter you wish to
control.
EXP (ON/OFF)
Switches the EXP pedal on/off.
* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.
CTL (ON/OFF)
Switches the CTL pedal on/off.
* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.
GK VOL (ON/OFF)
Switches the GK volume on/off.
* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.
* Set SYNTH VOL in GK FUNC to “ASSIGNABLE” (p. 67).
GK S1/S2 (ON/OFF)
Switches the GK S1/S2 on/off.
* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.
* Set DOWN/S1 and UP/S2 in GK FUNC to “ASSIGNABLE”
(p. 66).
ASSIGN1–8 (ON/OFF)
Switches the ASSIGN1–8 on/off.
* Turning [VALUE] will select PRESET.
TARGET
Select the parameter that will be affected.
* Parameters listed in “PEDAL/ASSIGN Parameter List” (p.
81) may be set to TARGET, regardless of the COSM
GUITAR, COSM AMP, EFFECTS, and other settings.
MIN
Specify the minimum value for the range of change.
MAX
Specify the maximum value for the range of change.
