Playing songs and recording your performances
The performance you recorded will be erased when you power-off the V-Piano.
If you want to keep your performance, save it to a file as described below.
1.
In the song screen, turn Function on and press the [F4 (OPTION)] button.

From the menu, choose “Save” and press the [ENTER] button.

The Save SONG File screen will appear.

Select the media on which you want to save the song file.
In the Save SONG File screen, press the [F1 (MEDIA)] button to select the store-destination media.

Specify a name for the song file. Press the [F2 (RENAME)] button.

The [VALUE] dial changes the character.
The [F1 (INSERT)] button inserts a blank space.
The [F2 (DELETE)] button deletes the character at the cursor location.
The [F3] button moves the cursor one character to the left.
The [F4] button moves the cursor one character to the right.
When you’ve assigned the name, press the [ENTER] button or the [EXIT] button to return to the previous screen.

When you’ve finished entering the file name, press the [F4 (EXECUTE)] button to start saving the song.
The screen will indicate “Executing...” while the data is being saved. Never turn off the power while this indication is shown.
If an identically named file already exists, a confirmation screen will ask “File Exists Overwrite OK?” If you want to overwrite
the existing song file, press the [F4 (OK)] button. If you want to save the song under a different file name, press the [F1
(CANCEL)] button.
6.
When the song has been saved, press the [EXIT] button to return to the previous screen.
