Parameters
This section explains the function of the parameters that
appear in the display each time you press a key.
LOCATE
Here you can check the current location, set the counter
display, and use the counter to change the current time.
P1. Location Counter: counter display
The counter displays the current location (time) of the cur-
rently selected song.
1. Counter ............................................................................
Use the [CURSOR] up/down keys of the [LOCATE] key
to switch the counter display format.
__:__.__ (MSM): The current location will be displayed as
the absolute time from the beginning of the song. From
the left, the units are Minutes: Seconds. Milliseconds (1/
1000th of a second).
__.__.__ (MBT): The current location will be displayed as
the number of measures from the beginning of the song.
The time signature and tempo are specified in the [SYS-
TEM] “Tempo” page (→p.41).
From the left, the units are Measure. Beat. Tick (1/96th of
a beat).
__.__Fr (FreeTime): The recordable time on the currently-
used card will be displayed. From the left, the units are
Minutes and Seconds.
The time displayed here is the time that can be recorded at
the song grade of the currently selected song. If the [REC
SELECT] keys have selected two tracks as the recording
tracks, the display will indicate the remaining recordable
time for two tracks.
2. SongGrade............................................(1…99. H, S, E, P)
This indicates the currently selected song number, and
the song grade of that song. The song grade is selected
when the song is created.
(High Quality): Highest audio quality
(Standard): Standard grade
(Economy): Extended length
(Play Only): Playback-only song created by the
“BOUNCE” CONV operation (→p.52)
