External input when the recorder is recording
Off: Tracks selected for recording will always use the
external input.
2. AutoPan ............................................................. [Off, On]
Specify whether the pan (stereo position) setting will be
set automatically when bounce-recording to a single
record track. (p.29)
3. SubIn.................................................................. [Off, On]
Turn SubIn “On” when you want to insert an external
input directly into the master bus. Otherwise leave this
turned “Off.” (p.51)
4. FadrCtrl (Fader Control)....................................... [Off, On]
This function allows mixer parameters other than level
(i.e., pan, send L, send R) to be set by the [TRACK] faders
in the Mixer page. (p.21)
On: The faders can be used to set mixer parameters.
Off: The faders will only set the level of each track.
5. LocMoni (Locate With Monitoring) ........................ [Off, On]
This function outputs the track playback in order to help
you verify the location when you change the current time
in the Locate page. The track audio of channels selected
for recording will be output if “AutoIn” is “On.”
P.5-2 Record: Recording settings
Here you can adjust your settings for recording.
1. Count-In ................................................................. [0…8]
Playback will begin this number of measures earlier, and
recording will begin after the specified number of mea-
sures have been played. Use this when you want record-
ing to start automatically from the beginning of the song,
or when you want to record with a smooth transition from
previously-recorded material. If this is set to “0,” playback
will start at the same time that recording begins. (p.28)
2. RecLngth(Rec Length) ................................ [Off, 001…999]
This setting lets you pre-specify the number of measures
from the beginning to the end of recording, so that record-
ing will end automatically. You can perform overdubbing
by using this in conjunction with “Count-In.” (p.28)
The punch-in time corresponds to the beginning of recording
(= current time). The punch-out time will be the
“RecLength” added to that time.
P.5-3 UndoSys: Undo settings
1. AutoUndo........................................................... [Off, On]
Select whether the Undo/Redo function will be available.
On: Undo/Redo will be available.
After recording or track editing, you will be able to undo/
redo.
Off: Undo/Redo will not be available.
If this is “On,” the undo data will be erased following the
next recording or track editing operation. If you turn this
“On” again without performing a recording or track editing
operation, undo/redo will be available.
2. DelUndo? ...........................................................[1.S, ALL]
You can delete the undo data to increase the free space on
the card.
Press the [CURSOR] right key to select “Yes,” and the data
will be deleted.
Undo data that has been deleted cannot be recovered.
