When an “

Version 2 Voice to Original VL
Version 2 voices cannot be used on the original VL instruments. An “Illegal file!”
error message will appear on the display and the files cannot be loaded or converted.

Hardware System Exclusive Data Transfer
System Exclusive data can be hardware-transferred between two original VL mod-
els, or between two Version 2 VL models, but not between an original and Version 2
model.
