If a problem appears, check the
following trouble shooting guide first,
and perform whatever action is
Symptom
The power does not turn on.
The batteries run low
quickly.
The volume does not
increase even through the
input level control of
channels 2 or 4 is
increased.
Power is not supplied to the
DC OUT connector.
The indication of the level
meter and the meter scale
do not match.
Each time the power is
turned on, the parameters
are reset to the default
settings.
Possible causes
Batteries are inserted with the
+ and – polarities reversed.
The batteries run low.
The screws of the cover of the
battery compartment are
loose.
The batteries run low.
You are using manganese
batteries.
The LINK/M-S switch is set to
the LINK/M-S side.
The unit is running on the
internal batteries.
The meter scale sheet
attached and the meter
display selected using the
METER SELECT sub-menu
are different.
The POWER ON MODE is set
to DEFAULT on the POWER
ON MODE sub-menu.
Remedies
Insert the batteries with the
correct polarities. (page 39)
Replace the eight internal
batteries with new ones. (page

Set the LINK/M-S switch is set
to OFF.
When the LINK/M-S switch is
