3–Names and Functions of Parts
Remote control (RC-DR100)
1 Ô/Â key
Press this key briefly to return to the start of a file.
If the playback position is already near the start of
a track, it will skip to the start of the previous file.
Press and hold this to search a track in reverse.
2 STOP [ª] key
Press to stop playback and recording. (See “Stop
recording” on page 27.)
3 RECORD [º] key
Press to start and pause recording. (See
“Recording” on page 27.)
4 /¯ key
Press this key briefly to move to the start of the
next file.
Press and hold this to search a track forward.
@
AA battery compartment
This compartment can hold two AA batteries that
can power the unit. (See "Using AA batteries” on
page 17.)
5 PLAY/PAUSE [Á/π] key
Press to start and pause playback. (See “Playback
(PLAY)” on page 33.)
6 AUTO REC key
Use this with the automatic recording function.
Unlike the key on the main unit, this key alone
can put the unit into recording standby. (See
“Automatic recording (AUTO REC)” on page 29.)
NOTE
Use the main unit to make various AUTO REC function
settings.
7 MARK key
Use this to set playback position markers that can
be skipped to. (See “Mark function” on page 30.)
