Error messages
If an error message is displayed, you can clear it by press-
ing the STOP/CANCEL key.
CardBrk
The SmartMedia is damaged.
Make a backup of the files that are on the
SmartMedia card. On the ESX-1, Write/Delete op-
erations for files on the damaged SmartMedia will
be disabled. If the same error occurs even after you
execute Format on the card, please replace the
SmartMedia.
Card Fmt
The SmartMedia™ could not be read.
Use your computer or other device to back up the
data on the SmartMedia™ card. Then format the
SmartMedia™ on the ESX-1, rewrite the desired
files to it, and access it once again from the ESX-1.
CardFull
There is insufficient free space in the ESX-1 or on
SmartMedia™.
If you want to save data, you must delete unneeded
files from the SmartMedia™ card to create suffi-
cient free space. Then write or save the data. The
SmartMedia™ must have a minimum of approxi-
mately 2 MB of free space in order to save ESX-1
data.
EventOvr
You have exceeded the maximum number of events that can
be recorded in a song.
Delete unneeded song event data.
FileDelt
An error occurred while deleting a file from SmartMedia.
Try the operation once again.
FileLoad
An error occurred while loading a file from SmartMedia™.
Try the operation once again.
FileName
When saving to SmartMedia, an identically-named folder
already exists.
Either use your computer to delete the folder from
the SmartMedia, or change the filename on the ESX-
1 and save it again.
FileSave
An error occurred while saving to SmartMedia™.
Try the operation once again.
Mem Full
Memory was not sufficient when you attempted to load a sample
from SmartMedia or copy a sample inside the ESX-1.
Delete unneeded files to increase the amount of free
space.
MotSqFul
The motion sequence cannot be recorded.
On the ESX-1, you can record a maximum of 24
motion sequences for each pattern.
Use CLEAR MOTION (p.69) to delete unneeded
motion sequences, and then input your data once
again.
NoFiles
The SmartMedia™ does not contain any files that the ESX-
1 can recognize.
The ESX-1 can load only .EMX files.
Protect
You attempted to write the data into memory when the data
protect setting was turned on.
In Global mode, turn memory protect off.
If the write protect label is affixed to the
SmartMedia™, remove it.
SongEvnt
While writing a song to a different-numbered song, you
exceeded the maximum number of events that can be re-
corded.
Delete unneeded event data to free up more
memory space.
Write
The data could not be written.
Try the writing operation once again.
