Selecting the click sound
You have a choice of sixteen sounds including a human
voice!
Procedure
1. Press [CLICK]-[F2 (INST)].
The “CLICK” page will appear.
2. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to Inst.
3. Use [INC/DEC] or the VALUE dial to make the setting.
Parameters
Inst: Voice, Click, Claves, Wood Block, Triangle, Cowbell,
Conga, Talking Drum, Maracas, Cabasa, Cuica,
Agogo, Tambourine, Snaps, 909 Snare, 808 Cowbell
Using ambience
You can also send the click sound to the ambience used in
the current kit.
Procedure
1. Press [CLICK]-[F2 (INST)].
The “CLICK” page will appear.
2. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to Ambience Level.
3. Use [INC/DEC] or the VALUE dial to make the setting.
Parameters
Ambience Level: 0127
Using effects
You can also “send” the click sound to the effect in use, and
sometimes this makes it more comfortable to listen to.
When using this, make sure that the master effect switch is
ON (p. 41).
Procedure
1. Press [CLICK]-[F2 (INST)].
The “CLICK” page will appear.
2. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to FX Send Level.
3. Use [INC/DEC] or the VALUE dial to make the setting.
Parameters
FX Send Level: 0127
* The effect is the one assigned to the kit ([CONTROL ROOM]-
[F4 (EFFECT)]).
Adjusting the pan
(stereo location)
You can set the pan position of the click. But if you have cho-
sen headphones (Phones Only) as the output destination, the
click will be located in the center regardless of this setting.
Procedure
1. Press [CLICK]-[F2 (INST)].
The “CLICK” page will appear.
2. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to Pan.
3. Use [INC/DEC] or the VALUE dial to make the setting.
L15 is far left, Center is center, and R15 is far right.

Pan: L15CenterR15
Selecting the output destination
You can select the output for the click. (Master and/or
Headphones only)
Procedure
1. Press [CLICK]-[F2 (INST)].
The “CLICK” page will appear.
2. Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to Output.
3. Use [INC/DEC] or the VALUE dial to make the setting.
Parameters
Output: Master, Phones Only
Master: Output from the MASTER OUT and PHONES
jacks.
Phones Only: Output only from the PHONES jacks.
