Writing to a CD
When writing to a CD the procedure differs when you are
choosing multiple stereo master tracks and when you
are using only one track. In this example, we will select
multiple stereo masters to create a CD that can be played
in ordinary CD players.
For details about writing to a CD, see “Creating an Audio
CD” on page 72.
1 In mixdown mode, press the CD button to open the
CD
screen.
2 Use the DATA wheel to select
MASTER WRITE
and
press the F4 (¥) button to open a list of songs that
have recorded stereo master tracks.
3 Use the DATA wheel to select a song that you want
to write to the CD, and press the F4 (✔) button to
check the box for the selected song. Press the F4 (✔)
button again to uncheck the box.
4 Repeat step 3 as necessary.
5 When you have decided the songs to write to
the disc, press the F2 (
NEXT
) button to open the
WRITE SONG LIST
screen. On this screen, you
can change the order that the stereo master tracks
will be written to the CD and set the gaps between
them. (For details about changing song order and
length, see “Creating an Audio CD” on page 57.)
6 Press the F2 (
NEXT
) button to mount the CD and
then open a pop-up confirmation message.
7 Press the F3 (
YES
) button to begin writing to the
CD.
8 After writing completes, a message appears asking
whether you want to write another CD with the
same contents.
Press the F3 (
YES
) button if you want to write
another CD with the same contents. If not, press
the F4 (
NO
) button to complete the procedure.
