Editing IN, OUT and TO points
1 Press the LOCATE LIST [LOCATE SET] button to
open the location mark list.
2 Press the F3 (
POINT
) button to open the
I/O
SETTING
screen.

3 Use the DATA wheel to select a mark, and press
the F2 (
EDIT
) button to open the
I/O SETTING
screen in editing mode.
4 Use the F3 () and F4 () buttons to move the time
unit cursor.
5 Use the DATA wheel to change the value of the
unit at the cursor. The larger adjacent time unit will
automatically increase or decrease when a unit is
turned past its high or low limit. For example, when
the DATA wheel is turned to increase the second
unit past
59
, it will become “
00
” and the minute
unit will increase by one.
6 Press the F1 (
EXIT
) button when you are done
editing the point to confirm the value and return to
the
I/O SETTING
screen.
7 Press the F4 (
JUMP
) button to locate to the point.
To return to the home screen without locating to
the point, press the F1 (
EXIT
) or HOME button
instead.
Using repeat playback
1 Set the starting (IN) and ending (OUT) points for
the time that you want to repeat, and then return
to the Home Screen.
2 Press the REPEAT button to start repeat playback.
The repeat icon on the Home Screen appears.

Playback starts from the IN point. When the OUT point
is reached, after the repeat interval elapses, playback
starts again from the IN point. Playback continues to
repeat between the IN and OUT points.
3 Press the REPEAT button again to stop repeat
playback.
The repeat icon on the Home Screen disappears.
The next section explains how to set the repeat interval
that determines the amount of time until playback starts
again after the OUT point is reached.
Setting the interval between
repetitions
The interval can be set from 1.0 to 9.9 seconds.
1 When the recorder is stopped, press the MENU
button to open the
MENU
screen.
2 Turn the DATA wheel to select
PREFERENCE
, and
press the F4 (¥) button to open the
PREFERENCE
screen.
3 Use the F3 (§) and F4 (¶) buttons to select the
setting value for the
Repeat Int
item. Turn
the DATA wheel to set the value from
1.0
to
9.9
sec.
in 0.1-sec. units.
The default setting is
1.0sec
.
4 When finished making settings, press the HOME
button to return to the Home Screen.
