Creating and playing a loop
Auditioning a loop (Preview)
Here’s how you can preview each part of the recorded loop.
1
Make sure that a pattern or effect control is not playing.
If any of these are playing, press the [ ](STOP) button to stop them.
2
Press the [SEL] button of the part that you want to hear.
The loop will play while you hold down the button. However, it will not
play back repeatedly.
Correcting the length of the loop (Capture Quantize)
The timing at which you stop capture is an important factor in creating a
precise loop. If you stop capturing at the wrong time, the loop length and
the timing of the measures in the pattern will be skewed, and it will not be
possible to synchronize the loop accurately. To prevent this, you can
automatically stop capture at the moment the first or second measure ends,
relative to the current tempo. This is called capture quantize.
