Map Page Setup Menu
The Map Page Setup Menu uses a “fi le tab” system, making it easier for you to fi nd the various set-
tings for confi guring the map display. The following table outlines the fi le tab names and the settings
available in each tab:
General – Detail, Orientation, Auto Zoom, Lock to Roads, Accuracy Circle
Map – Basemap, Map Outlines, Lat/Lon Grid
Line – Heading Line, Bearing Line, Course Line, Track Log, Saved Tracks
Waypoint – Waypoints, Active Route
Marine – Services/Facilities, Spot Soundings, Tide Stations, Night Colors
Navaids – Symbol Set, Symbol Size, Light Sectors
City – Large City, Medium City, Small City, Small Town
Road – Freeway, Highway, Local Road, Local Road Name, Railroad
Point – POIs, Geo, Exit
Area – River/Lake, Park, Other, Metro
Topo – Major Contour, Inter Contour, Minor Contour, Land Cover
To change a map setup feature:
1. From the Map Page, press MENU, highlight ‘Set Up Map’ and press ENTER/MARK.
2. Press LEFT or RIGHT on the
ARROW KEYPAD to highlight the desired fi le tab, then UP or DOWN on
the ARROW KEYPAD to highlight to the fi eld you want to change and press ENTER/MARK.
3. Press UP or DOWN on the
ARROW KEYPAD to highlight to the desired setting and press ENTER/
MARK
to select the new setting.
4. Press
QUIT to exit.
