Main Menu
‘Guidance’ tab
To open the ‘Guidance’ tab, press the MENU key twice to open the Main Menu. Select ‘Setup’ from
the vertical tab list. Then select ‘Guidance’ from the row of tabs along the top of the page.
Off-Route Recalculation – allows you to set whether the unit prompts you when it is recalculating
your route (‘Prompted’), or whether the unit recalculates automatically. You can also set whether the unit
announces the recalculation (‘Automatic - Announced’) or recalculates silently (‘Automatic - Silent’). You
can also turn route recalculation ‘Off’.
Next Turn Pop-up – turns the Next Turn Pop-up window ‘Off’, or opens the window when the NAV/
MOB key is held (‘Held NAV Key Only’), opens automatically (‘Automatically Only’) or ‘Both’.
‘Timers’ tab
To open the ‘Timers’ tab, press the MENU key twice to open the Main Menu. Select ‘Setup’ from the
vertical tab list. Then select ‘Timers’ from the row of tabs along the top of the page.
User – allows you to set the timer to ‘ Count Up’ or ‘Count Down’. You can also ‘ Reset’ the timer and
turn it ‘Off’. Enter a time to use when counting up or down to the right.
Since Midnight – displays the time the unit has been turned on since midnight. This will reset if you
restore ‘All Unit Defaults’ from the ‘System’ tab.
