Preparing the power and SD
card
Installing an SD card
1 Make sure the unit power is OFF. Open
the SD card slot on the right side of the
unit.
2 Insert the SD Card into the slot as shown
in the following illustration until it clicks
into place.
3 Close the cover.
Ejecting the card
Push an inserted card in further to eject it.
CAUTION
Always turn the power OFF before removing
the batteries or the SD card. Removing
either while the power is still ON will cause
any recordings and settings made since the
last time the power was turned OFF or the
song was saved to be lost. These data and
settings cannot be recovered.
Write-protected cards
SD cards have write-protect (lock) switches.
Unprotected Protected
When the protect switch is in the LOCK
position, les cannot be recorded or edited
on the card. Slide the switch away from the
LOCK position if you want to record, erase or
otherwise changed les on a card.
Preparing the power
This unit can be powered either by AA
batteries or a PS-P520 AC adaptor (sold
separately). Alkaline or NiMH batteries can be
used with this unit.
Installing batteries
Open the battery compartment on the bottom
of the unit. Insert 4 AA batteries in the box
according to the + and - indications.
CAUTION
The unit does not have charging ability. •
To use NiMH batteries, use an optional
charger.
The included alkaline batteries are for •
confirming the operation of the unit and
might not last very long.
