To display the time of the system, use the time command.
time
Syntax Description
Defaults None

Usage Guidelines The time is displayed in the same format as this example:
Fri Aug 24 10:50:31 2001 PST
PST is the time zone. See Appendix D, “Time Zone Codes,” for a list of time zones and correlating
abbreviations.
Examples The following example shows how to display the time of the system.
edfa > time
Thu Dec 13 19:29:02 2001 GMT
