• Unacceptable Gain
[Measure signal gain is out of acceptable range]
Explanation The equipment is unable to achieve the planned level for gain.
Recommended Action Ensure that the optical input and environmental factors are within operational
range. If the alarm is still present, the unit might need servicing.
• Laser Pump Bad
[One or more of the laser pump(s) bad]
Explanation The measured parameters for the laser show that a laser pump has gone bad.
Recommended Action Ensure that the optical input and environmental factors are within operational
range. If the alarm is still present, the unit needs servicing.
• EEPROM bad
[EEPROM access showed up errors]
Explanation The writes and reads from EEPROM have problems.
Recommended Action If this problem recurs, it denotes a fault with the monitoring interface and may
