Setting Parameters with the Jog Dial Recording Menu
Recording Menu
This menu provides access to the TENORI-ON real-time recording function.
Before using SD Memory Cards with the TENORI-ON, be sure to read “Handling SD™ Memory Cards”
on Page 63.
1 Insert an SD Memory Card that has been properly formatted by the TENORI-ON into the
card slot.
2 Use the jog dial select "Main Menu" "Recording menu," then press the [OK] button to
the Recording menu START display.
3 Press the [OK] button while the above display is showing to begin recording.
Master volume ( Page 33) changes will be recorded during song recording, whereas hardware
volume ( Page 43) will not.
Press the [CANCEL] button if you want to cancel recording.
Recording will begin from the instant you press the [OK] button, and all performance
data for all layers and blocks (note position data), LED button operations, function
button operations (voice, tempo settings, etc.), and [CLEAR] button operations will be
recorded in real time. The maximum amount of data that can be recorded is 39
kilobytes. This corresponds to approximately 1,000 button or dial operations.
The following display will appear during recording, showing the current layer status and
elapsed recording time.
4 Press the [OK] button to stop recording.
A display that will allow the recorded performance to be saved as a Song File to the SD
Memory Card will appear. Press the [OK] button to begin the Song file save procedure.
Press the [CANCEL] button (or use the jog dial to select "CANCEL" on the LCD and then press the [OK]
button) if you want to cancel the recording.
