TENORI-ON MIDI Transmit/Receive Event Specifications
1. Transmittable/Receivable System Messages
The TENORI-ON transmits MIDI messages corresponding to operations performed on it, and
received MIDI messages can be used to control the TENORI-ON tone generator. System
messages that can be transmitted and received by the TENORI-ON are listed below. Refer to
the MIDI Implementation Chart for other message types.
System Messages that Can Be Transmitted and Received By the TENORI-ON
*1 Transmitted only in Master Mode. *2 Received only in Slave Mode. *3 Received only in Master Mode.
System Realtime Messages FE and F8 are continuously transmitted (in the Master Mode) after startup regardless of sequencer start/
stop operations.
2. TENORI-ON Specific System Exclusive Messages
MIDI messages corresponding to button or dial operations performed on the TENORI-ON
are output as System Exclusive Messages. The format used for these messages is listed
below.
