in memory, and dis

appear immediately.
The instrument’s backup batteries may
be low immediately after purchase or
following a period of prolonged use.
Turn the power of the instrument ON
to charge the backup batteries. Under
this condition, the batteries can be fully
charged in 25 hours.
The backup batteries have an expected
service life of approximately ten years.
If you find that the instrument fails to
retain data in memory even after the
batteries have been fully charged, how
-
ever, then it is likely that your batteries
have reached the end of its life and re
-
quires replacement. Note that you can-
not replace the batteries yourself. For
information, please contact a KONICA
MINOLTA SENSING-authorized
service facility.
Relative gloss value
is displayed as “G---”
in the TASK mode.
In this case of the TASK mode, if the
MASK/GLOSS setting wasn’t “
*
/
I+E”, relative gloss value is not calcu
-
lated and is displayed as “G---”.
Change the MASK/GLOSS setting of
the TASK to “
*
/I+E”, and redownload
the TASK from SpectraMagic (Ver.3.2
or higher; except for Ver.3.5) to the
CM-2600d/2500d.
