In COND mode, the measurement screen can still be displayed even if white calibration has not been com-
pleted. However, it will not be possible to take measurement. (Measured data can still be viewed.)
White calibration must be performed each time the power is turned ON.
To perform white calibration again after the measurement screen is displayed, select “PREV” to return to
<COND
*
> screen, then restart the procedure from step 2.
• If the measurement area or specular component mode is changed in the <FILE> screen following white
calibration, it is necessary to perform white calibration again under those new conditions (i.e. with the
newly selected measurement area or specular component mode).
Even if the conditions are changed (e.g. switched from COND2 to COND3) following white calibration,
it will be not necessary to perform white calibration again if the measurement area and specular component
mode remain unchanged.
• If does not appear due to the auto power save function, this may be due the fact that it can take time
to start white calibration after C is pressed.
