Select the track that you wish to record. Hold down [REC], and
press the [STATUS] button of the track that you wish to
record. For this example, hold down [REC] and press the track
3 [STATUS] button. [STATUS] will blink red.

Select the source that will be recorded on the track. Hold down
the [STATUS] button of the track that you wish to record, and
press the [SELECT] button of the input channel that you wish
to assign as the source. For this example, hold down the
[STATUS] button of track 3, and press the input channel 1
[SELECT] button so it begins to blink.

Raise and lower channel fader 3, and verify that the volume
changes. The track channel fader is used for monitoring. It
does not affect the recording level. You can record even if no
sound is heard. Adjust the fader to a comfortable volume for
listening.

Press the [SELECT] button of the channel to which you wish to
apply the effect. For this example, press the input channel 1
[SELECT] button. [SELECT] will light, and the Input Mixer
display will appear.

Press [F1 (FX1)]. If [F1] does not show “FX1,” first press
[PAGE] so that “FX1” appears, and then press [F1 (FX1)].
