Panel Descriptions
MODE
These buttons switch between modes of the V-Synth GT.
EDIT
Use these buttons when you want to edit a patch or tone.
VOLUME
Adjusts the overall volume that is output from the rear panel
MAIN OUT jacks and PHONES jack. (p. 18)
ASSIGNABLE CONTROL
You can assign a variety of parameters and functions to the
two knobs ([C1], [C2]), and use them to modify the sound
in realtime. (p. 50)
INPUT
ARPEGGIO
Here you can control the arpeggiator.
KEYBOARD
Here you can change the pitch range of the keyboard.
PATCH PALETTE
Here you can register and recall your favorite patches.
Display
This displays information regarding the operation you are
performing.
E1–E8 knobs
These knobs adjust the on-screen parameters in real time (p.
35).

SYSTEM
]
Switches to System mode (p. 193).

PATCH
]
Opens the Patch mode Patch Play
screen (p. 39).
[
UTILITY
]
Switches to Utility mode (p. 214).
[
SAMPLE
]
Switches to Sample mode (p. 163).
[SOUND SHAPER II]
Opens the Sound Shaper II screen (p.
158).
[PRO EDIT]
Opens the Pro Edit screen (p. 85).
[MENU]
Opens the menu.
[WRITE]
Saves the edited content in internal
memory or USB memory.
[LEVEL]
Adjust the volume of the upper tone
and lower tone.
[PAN]
Adjust the stereo position (panning) of
the upper tone and lower tone.
[ASSIGNABLE]
Switches to the effect that is specified
for each tone.
PEAK Indicator
This will light when the input volume is
too high.
[MIC LEVEL]
Adjusts the volume of the signal input
through the INPUT jacks on the rear
panel. (p. 148)
[ON/OFF]
Switches the mic input on/off.
[SETTING]
Opens the Audio Input Settings screen
(p. 200).

[TEMPO]
Adjusts the V-Synth GT’s tempo.
[ON/OFF]
Switches the Arpeggiator on/off.
[HOLD]
Switches the Arpeggiator hold on/off.
[-OCT], [+OCT]
These buttons adjust the pitch of the
keyboard in octave steps. (p. 45)
[TRANSPOSE]
Specifies transposing the keyboard in
semitone steps. (p. 44)
Pressing [-OCT] or [+OCT] while hold-
ing down this button allows you to set
the desired amount of transposition.
[PATCH ASSIGN]
If you hold down this button and press
PATCH PALETTE [1]–[8], the currently
selected patch will be registered as a
favorite patch (p. 42).
[BANK]
You can change the Patch Palette bank
by holding down this button and press-
ing PATCH PALETTE [1]–[8].
[1]–[8]
These buttons let you select/register
your favorite patches.
