Usage: write <memory|terminal>
Description: View or save the running conguration of the switch.
write terminal - displays the running conguration of the
switch on the terminal
write memory - saves the running conguration of the
switch to ash. The saved conguration
becomes the boot-up conguration of the switch
the next time it is booted.
COMMAND STRUCTURE
■ write memory -- Save the running configuration of the switch to flash. (p. 761)
■ write terminal -- Display the running configuration of the switch on the terminal. (p. 761)
EXAMPLES
Example: write memory
Make a configuration change (in this example, create a static IP route) and save the change to the
configuration file in flash memory:
ProCurve(cong)# ip route 192.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 195.1.1.1
ProCurve(cong)# write memory
