Press the [TOTAL] key, and use the cursor up/
down keys to bring up the indication “PAT NAME”.
The name of the selected patch can now be edited. The
character currently selected for editing flashes.

Use the cursor left/right keys to move the flashing
position to the character you want to change, and
turn the dial to select a character.
For information on available characters, refer to page 39.

Repeat step 3 as necessary to complete the new
name.
5.
To confirm the new name, press the [STORE] key in
the control section twice.
The new name is stored, and the unit returns to the patch
selection screen.
NOTE
Keep in mind that the name will revert to the previous name
if you switch to another patch without storing the edited
patch name.
Applying the insert effect only to the
monitor signal
Normally when the insert effect is placed into the input
mixer, the signal processed by the effect will be recorded on
the track. If necessary, however, you can apply the insert
effect only to the monitor signal, and record the unprocessed
input signal on the track. For example when recording the
unprocessed sound of a vocal performance, the vocalist may
be more comfortable singing if an insert effect suitable for
mic recording is applied to the monitor signal.

Set the insert effect position to the input mixer.

In the main screen, press the [UTILITY/TRACK
EDIT] key in the display section.
The utility menu appears.

Use the cursor left/right keys to call up the
indication “UTILITY REC SRC”.
4.
Press the [ENTER] key.
The display indication changes as follows. You can now
select one of the following two signal types to be recorded
on the track.
