Turn B to select “WHITE”, and then press C (MEAS. button).

Place the instrument on the correct White Calibration Plate (i.e. the calibration plate whose plate No. is
displayed in the screen).

• If the white calibration data has already been set, the procedure will move to step 8 automatically.
• If does not appear due to the auto power save function, this may be due the fact that it can take time
to start calibration after C is pressed.

If a single target color has been selected for all measurement in a series, a mes-
sage asking you whether to save the average will appear.
To display the average of the meas-
ured data and save it as the measure-
ment result at the end of
measurements, select “YES” and
press

If you want to save individual meas-
ured data without calculating the av-
erage, select “NO” and press

This condition will be registered in the memory of the instrument as long as data is stored for the TASK. In
this case, this step will be skipped when the same TASK is selected for the next time.
