Programming Custom Services
There are 5 types of Custom Services:
– Menu & Transfer: Perhaps the most commonly used Custom Service type. Presents callers
with a list of options that they can select by pressing the dial keys on their telephones.
– Date Control: Allows you to determine the way incoming calls will be handled on specific
dates. All calls are handled in the same way; callers make no selections.
– Time Control: Allows you to determine the way incoming calls will be handled during
specific times of day. All calls are handled in the same way; callers make no selections.
– Day Control: Allows you to determine the way incoming calls will be handled on specific
days of the week. All calls are handled in the same way; callers make no selections.
– Password: Similar to Menu & Transfer except that callers enter specific passwords to
access the available options. This allows you to control who can access the Custom Service.
