Assignments in this page (and all the other PATCH pages) are made by using the cursor keys
to move to the appropriate box and then using the DATA +/- keys to select your options.
The DISK RECORD SOURCES allow you to select audio sources to be recorded to the disk
tracks. The source options are
INPUTS 1-12 Stereo bus L
GROUPS 1-8 - default Stereo bus R
ADC 1-12 METRONOME
Digital In L FX1L
Digital In R FX1R
Aux In L FX2L
Aux In R FX2R
2-Track L FX3L
2-Track R FX3R
ADAT 1 - 8 FX4L
ADAT 9-24
(with IB-24ADT option board installed)
FX4R
(no assignment)
This flexible assignment allows many possibilities. For example, you could patch the ADCs
directly to the track inputs. Not only would this provide very clean, unprocessed recording
direct to disk but would also free up the 12 input mix channels for other audio sources such
as ADAT (the digital individual outputs of an S5/6000 for example).
The stereo FX RTN SOURCES allow you to configure the FX RETURNS channels. The source
options are:
FX1 L+R (the stereo outputs of Internal FX1) - default
FX2 L+R (the stereo outputs of Internal FX2) - default
FX3 L+R (the stereo outputs of Internal FX3) - default
FX4 L+R (the stereo outputs of Internal FX4) - default
ADCs 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8
Digital In L+R
Aux In L+R
2-Track L+R
ADAT 1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8
ADAT 9+10, ... up to ... 23+24 (with IB-24ADT option board installed)
