PROJECT COPY VIA USB
With akSysServer running on a computer connected to the DPS24 via the USB port, you will also
be able to select HOST 0, 1, 2, etc.. as the "To Disk" destination for the COPY PROJECT function.
To copy projects back from the HOST to the DPS24, select the HOST drive as the source drive
using SELECT DRIVE in the main PROJECT page.
NOTE:
When an HOSTdrive is selected, when you return to the main PROJECT page, you will see
the list of projects on that drive as normal. However, because it is not possible to actually play/record
projects directly from a HOST drive, the NEW and LOAD options do not appear:
BACKING UP PROJECTS
Pressing BACKUP [F3] will show this screen:
This page allows you to backup projects from a Hard Disk Drive onto a CDR drive.
You should use the CURSOR UP/DOWN keys to select the project(s) you want to back up and
you should press SELECT PROJECT [F2/3] to 'mark' the files. The project(s) will be marked thus:
Multiple projects may be selected in this way for backup in one pass. E.g.:
As in the COPY page, in the project BACKUP page, the DPS24 calculates a running total of
the amount of data contained within the selected projects so that you can estimate how much
space you need before you start backing up.
