Follow the steps below to change the EtherSound settings from AVS-ES Monitor. (For example,
when you want to connect an EtherSound device other than the SB168-ES units.)
1
Set SB168-ES dip switches 5–8 to OFF (up).
2
Press the AUTO CONFIGURE button to turn
it off (the button indicator will turn off).
3
Connect a computer (with AVS-ESMonitor
installed) to the [3rd] connector on the
M7CL-48ES.
4
Start AVS-ESMonitor.
5
Select the desired EtherSound device (such
as an M7CL-48ES, SB168-ES, etc.) for
which you want to modify the settings from
AVS-ESMonitor, then open the Control
page.
6
Remove the check from Lock Inputs and
Lock Outputs in the Lock Routing section
on the Control page.
7
Modify the settings from AVS-ESMonitor as
necessary.
8
If necessary, execute “Write to Non Volatile
Memory” to write the modified data to Non
Volatile Memory (non-volatile memory of
the EtherSound module).
Changing the EtherSound settings from AVS-ESMonitor (M7CL-48ES)
If the AUTO CONFIGURE button has been turned on, the
Stage Box Setup function of the M7CL-48ES will take priority.
Thus the setting data written to non-volatile memory will not
affect either the M7CL-48ES or SB168-ES. If you want to use
the setting data that was written to non-volatile memory, leave
the AUTO CONFIGURE button off (the button indicator is
turned off).
If you turn on the power to the SB168-ES while dip switches
5–8 are set to OFF (up), settings written to non-volatile mem-
ory will be used at the time of startup.
By viewing the “Setting from DIP Switch 5–8” section of the
SB168-ES Control page in AVS-ESMonitor, you can check
the M7CL-48ES’s connection type as specified via SB168-ES
dip switches 5–8. In the same way, you can check the Stage
Box Setup function settings of the M7CL48ES by viewing the
AUTO CONFIGURE section of the M7CL-48ES Control page.
You can modify these settings temporarily from AVS-ESMoni-
tor.
