PROGRAM TEXT PT
Purpose:
To program text to an oscilloscope.
If the
S
parameter is specified, setup text is programmed. The text will be set into
one of the setup registers of the oscilloscope. The parameter
n
specifies the setup
register. A maximum number of 22 characters is allowed. The remainder of the
text field is set to ’spaces’.
If the
S
parameter is not
specified, user text is programmed. The text will be
displayed on the screen of the oscilloscope. A maximum number of 64 characters
is allowed. The remainder of the text field is set to ’spaces’. The parameter
n
may
not
be used.
The programmed text can be read with the Query Text (QT) command.
