DELAY
Parameter Value Explanation
On/O OFF, ON Turns the DELAY OFF/ON.
Type
Use this to choose the type of delay.
SINGLE This is a simple monaural delay.
PAN
This delay is specically for stereo output.
This provides a tap delay eect that divides
the delay time between the left and right
channels.
STEREO
The direct sound is output from the left
channel, and the eect sound is output from
the right channel.
REVERSE
This produces the eect of playback in
reverse.
ANALOG This produces a mild analog delay sound.
TAPE
This setting provides the characteristic
wavering sound of a tape echo.
MODULATE
This is a delay with a pleasant chorus-type
eect added to the delay repeats.
HICUT
This features a more suppressed high end
than the Single delay.
Delay Time
1–3400 [msec],
BPM
This sets the delay time.
When set to BPM, the value of the DELAY
TIME parameter is set according to the value
of the “Recorder Tempo” (p. 122). This makes it
easier to achieve eect sound settings that
match the tempo of the song.
Feedback 0–100
This sets the number of repetitions for the
delay.
Eect Level 0–120
This sets the volume level of the eect.
When Type is set to REVERSE, this adjusts the
balance of direct and eect sound.
CHORUS
Parameter Value Explanation
On/O OFF, ON Turns the CHORUS OFF/ON.
Type
Use this to choose the type of chorus.
MONO
This chorus eect outputs the same sound
from the left and right channels.
STEREO 1
This is a stereo chorus eect that adds
dierent chorus sounds to L channel and R
channel.
STEREO 2
This stereo chorus uses spatial synthesis,
with the direct sound output in the left
channel and the eect sound output in the
right channel.
MONO MILD
This features a more suppressed high end
than MONO.
STEREO 1
MILD
This features a more suppressed high end
than ST 1.
STEREO 2
MILD
This features a more suppressed high end
than ST 2.
Rate 0–100, BPM
This sets the speed of the eect.
When set to BPM, the value of the RATE
parameter is set according to the value of
the “Recorder Tempo” (p. 122). This makes it
easier to achieve eect sound settings that
match the tempo of the song.
Depth 0–100 This sets the richness of the eect.
Eect Level 0–100 This sets the volume level of the eect.
REVERB
Parameter Value Explanation
On/O OFF, ON Turns the REVERB OFF/ON.
Type
Use this to choose the type of reverb.
AMBIENCE
Simulates an ambience microphone (o-mic,
placed at a distance from the sound source) used
in recording and other applications. Rather than
emphasizing the reverberation, this reverb is
used to produce a sense of openness and depth.
ROOM
Simulates the reverberation in a small room.
Provides warm reverberations.
HALL 1
Simulates the reverberation in a concert hall.
Provides clear and spacious reverberations.
HALL 2
Simulates the reverberation in a concert hall.
Provides mild reverberations.
PLATE
Simulates plate reverberation (a studio eect
unit that uses the vibration of a large metal plate
to produce reverberation). Provides a metallic
sound with a distinct upper range.
Reverb Time 0.1–10.0 (s) Adjusts the length (time) of reverberation.
High Cut
700Hz–
11.0kHz,
FLAT
The high cut lter adjusts the amount of high
frequencies in the reverb sound. When “FLAT” is
selected, the high cut lter will have no eect.
Eect Level 0–100 This sets the volume level of the eect.
