6.4 Tests After Wiring
6.4.1 Loop test
(b) Procedure
Perform a loop test from the master station (safety station).
1. Connect GX Developer to the safety CPU module.
2. Set network parameters in GX Developer as
shown in the figure to left.

3. Configure the network configuration setting in the
network parameter. ( Page 81, Section 7.3)

4. Write the network parameters set in GX Developer
to the safety CPU module.
[Online] [Write to PLC]
5. Reset the safety CPU module or power off and on
the system.
6. Loop test begins.
Master station (safety station)
The MODE and D LINK LEDs flash. Also, each of the
×10 LED and ×1 LED repeatedly turns on and off (1 2
4 8 1 • • •).
However, if errors are detected, the test is immediately
terminated (failure).
Local station (safety station)
Data link stops on all stations. Also, the MODE, D LINK,
and ×100 LEDs flash.
