Copy Measure
[Settings] 001 ~ 999
Specifies the measure location in the destination track to
which the phrase is to be copied. The phrase will be copied
without modification, regardless of the meter.

Copy Sample
When the checkbox is checked sample voices used by the
source phrase are copied to the destination song as local sam-
ple voices, and are assigned to destination track.
This parameter has no effect when no sample voice is used by
the source phrase.
This job deletes all data from the selected phrase.

Delete Sample
When the checkbox is checked, sample data assigned to the
selected phrase will be deleted.
This parameter has no effect when no sample voice is used by
the selected phrase.
Use this job to enter or change a phrase name. The name can be
up to 12 characters long.

Phrase Name
Refer to “Chapter 1: Basics”, page 67, for details on name
entry.
Copies all data of the selected type from specified source track to
specified destination track.
NOTE
• When there is no memory available in the des-
tination song for local sample voice data, “Too
Many Local Voices” will appear on the display
and the sample voice data will not be copied.
If this occurs, use Sample Job “02 Delete”
(Page 246) to delete unused local samples
then try again.
• Undo/Redo (Page 134) can be used after a
sample voice copy operation, but will not
apply to the sample voice.
• When the “4. Copy Sample” box is checked
and the [F4] (DO!) button is pressed, the “Are
You Sure? Cancel [F2]/OK [F3]” confirmation
prompt will appear. [F3] will execute the Put
Phrase job.

26 Phrase Name
NOTE
• Phrases cannot be selected from this display.
Select the phrase you want to name or
rename while in the PATTERN Play mode
(Page 75).
• Phrase names cannot be entered for empty
phrases.
27 Copy Track
CAUTION
The copy operation overwrites any data previ-
ously existing on the destination track.
