If the waveform repetition mechanism is enabled, the repetition period must be
greater than or equal to the waveform period. Calculate the waveform period as
follows:
Sample Period * Number of Points
The DAC has the following trigger modes.
H Sample mode allows an external or handshake trigger to clock the DAC
samples when an external or handshake trigger source is selected.
H Segment triggering allows an external, handshake, or immediate trigger
source to initiate an externally timed segment.
H Sequence triggering allows an external, handshake or immediate trigger
source to initiate an externally timed sequence.
All channels share the following functions:
H Common sample clock
H Common trigger source
H Common trigger output
H Common repetition mechanism
H Common trigger mode
When the trigger source is programmed to IMMediate, the internal sample clock
is selected. This is the default condition.
Generating Continuous and Multiple Waveforms
This procedure shows you how to generate four waveforms simultaneously with
the DAC. You will generate the following waveform types:
H 62.5 Hz triangle waveform on channel two
H 62.5 ramp waveform on channel one
H 500 Hz and 250 Hz square waveforms on channel three and channel eight
You will use Numeric Array Lists.
