8. There are two types of printout format for the Hotel/Motel Printer. The printout format can be selected by
the system data programming. The following figure shows examples of the printout format 1 and 2.
Example: Input data = 001*002*12345*3# (* is used to separate the input data. * is not printed out but
sent out to the PMS.)
a. The maximum number of characters per line is 20.
b. The maximum number of input data per line is 10. When the number of input data is 11 or more, the
data over 10 characters are printed out on the next lines.
Example: Input data = 1*123456789012*12*2*1#
