6. The DTI can be provided with circuit cards to interface with T1 carrier.
7. The DTI boards are mounted in the AP board slot of the Port Interface Module (PIM).
8. The following two methods may be used for network synchronization (see below):

9. The maximum number of trunks for DTI is 240 ports (10 24 DTI boards:24 ports/DTI board or 8 30 DTI
boards, 30 DTI: 31 ports/DTI card). The total number of ports (DTI and other AP) must be less than 256
ports.
